It is the only organization in Korea that represents broadcasting writers,
and in 2025 it marks the 68th anniversary of its founding in 1957.

The Association has nearly 4,800 members, including writers specializing in dramas,
current affairs and documentaries, entertainment and reality shows, radio, translation, and OTT content.
